Anne-Marie’s Organic Abstractions emerge through layers of color, drawing, staining, erasure, and reconstruction. Shapes develop intuitively, often suggesting bodies, landscapes, plants, internal organs, or microscopic forms without becoming literal representations. Through this ambiguity, the paintings explore the connections between the human body and the larger natural world while allowing each viewer to discover something different within them.
