Anne-Marie’s Silver Ink Drawings explore the possibilities of line on dark surfaces, allowing luminous marks to emerge from the page almost like forms appearing out of darkness. Dense networks of shapes, patterns, and organic structures develop through an intuitive drawing process, suggesting landscapes, fossils, biological systems, and imagined environments. These drawings became an important foundation for later works, including her Indigo Flow paintings, where similar forms expanded into larger compositions on canvas.
